Archival Archery YOUTH/JOAD Age & Division Calculator for 2016

NOTE: verify any suggestion by the calculator with the current American Archers JOAD Rules. See the USA Archery website.

The last handbook I have went from "JOAD only" to "Club Handbook" in May of 2015. Check the distances listed therein, chapter 10 under "Events".

This page uses javascript to calculate. If your browser has javascript turned off then you will not get results - the field might be blank, or show "NaN" as the results. Some versions of MS IE do not work with this page. In such cases, please use the chart at the bottom to determine your division and the available links to determine your distances for outdoor events.

Enter your birthday: and then click Calculate.

The rules of the American Archers JOAD are that your age as of the last day of a given year determines what JOAD division you belong in for that entire year.

NOTICE: Any archer may shoot in a higher division if desired. If an archer participates in a tournament shooting as an "NArchival Archery Archer" or "NArchival Archery Yeoman" his/her score will NOT be used in official rankings, Jr. USAT, etc...The results on this page are NOT OFFICIAL.

Likewise, athletes with disabilities may choose to compete in their IPC classification (AR-Standing, ARW-2, ARW-1, for examples) as well as a JOAD or a Senior, based on their age as indicated below.
